Why We Created This Service
A note from our Founder, Michelle:
When I was planning my own special trip to France, I knew I wanted exclusive and private wine tours in several wine regions. I wanted a local expert with insider knowledge as a guide that could give me access to unique experiences. But not only am I a travel professional, I’m also a wine pro and wanted a guide that was as knowledgeable (or more) about wine as I am so that my experience could be more in-depth and personalized.
Even though it’s my job to research, consult, and coordinate travel, I found the search for my perfect wine tour to be frustrating and time-consuming. I realized that if I found it complicated, then travelers without professional experience could likely use my help.
My travel focus has always been helping independent travelers craft their perfect itinerary, but now, I was one of those independent travelers searching for extraordinary wine tours. I knew what service I wanted to help me with my travel planning and decided to create Europe Wine Guides to help other travelers find their perfect wine tour with expert guides.
My hope is to save you the frustrations I had and give you the information you need to discover exclusive European wine tours.
